This Privacy Policy explains how Plag Check (“the Service”), operated by DoMyWork (“we”, “us”, “our”), collects, uses, and protects your information. By using the Service, you agree to this policy.

We collect only what we need to deliver your report:
- Your uploaded document, used solely to generate your report.
- Your email address, used to deliver your report and a receipt.
- Your first name, used to personalise communication.
- Your WhatsApp number, only if you choose to provide it (optional).
- Payment information, which is collected and processed directly by our third-party payment processor. We do not see or store your full card details.
- Basic technical data such as IP address and browser type, collected automatically to operate and secure the Service.

We use your information to:
- generate and deliver your report;
- take payment and provide a receipt;
- respond to support requests;
- protect the Service against fraud and misuse;
- meet our legal obligations.
We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use your uploaded document for any purpose other than producing your report.

6. Third parties we share data with
To run the Service, we share limited data with trusted third parties who process it on our behalf:
- Detection providers, including Turnitin. Your document is transmitted to third-party detection engines, including Turnitin, solely to perform the similarity and AI-content analysis that produces your report. We are an independent service and are not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by Turnitin or any other provider. Their handling of data transmitted for analysis is governed by their own terms and privacy practices.
- Payment processor. Our payment provider processes your payment and card details securely. We receive only confirmation of payment and limited transaction information.
- Email delivery provider. We use an email service to send your report and receipt.
We share only what is necessary, and only for the purposes described here.

- Uploaded documents: deleted immediately after report generation.
- Email, name, and transaction records: retained only as long as needed to provide the Service, meet legal and accounting obligations, and handle any support or disputes, after which they are deleted or anonymised.

Your rights depend on where you live. We honour the rights available to you under your local law, including the following.
- United Kingdom and European Union (UK GDPR / EU GDPR):you have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to the processing of your data, and the right to data portability. You may also lodge a complaint with your data protection authority, such as the Information Commissioner's Office in the UK or your national authority in the EU.
- United States (including California): you have the right to know what personal information we collect, to request its deletion, and to opt out of the sale of personal information. We do not sell personal information. We will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights.
- Canada (PIPEDA): you have the right to access and correct your personal information and to complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.
- Australia and New Zealand: you have the right to access and correct your personal information and to complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner or the New Zealand Privacy Commissioner.
